India's Vinesh Phogat settled for silver at the Asian Wrestling Championships, held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan after losing the final bout 2-3 to China's Chun Lei.

In the women's 50kg freestyle event, Phogat came back strongly to take the lead but then the Chinese wrestler in the last minutes grabbed two points and managed to defend till the end of the bout.

India bagged its fourth medal when Sangeeta took bronze in the 59kg freestyle category after losing to Um Jieun of Korea Republic 9-4 on Thursday. in the 68kg category, there was no medal for Divya Kakran after the wrestler went down against Meerim Zhumanazarova 6-12.

Earlier, Phogat entered the final of the 50kg category with win over Japan's Yuki Irie, assuring herself and India of at least a silver medal.

Meanwhile, two Greco-Roman wrestlers have given India two bronze medals. Harpreet Singh and Rajendra Kumar bagged the bronze medals in the 82kg and 55kg respectively.
