Brian Glanville is a football writer and novelist with a wealth of experience. He has had a lengthy career in writing, starting at the age of 19 with a biography of his idol Cliff Bastin. In the 1960s and 1970s, he was a member of the jury which decides the yearly Ballon d’Or. Glanville, a life-long Arsenal fan, is known for taking a critical view of the beautiful game. He has often criticised the Premier League and senior FIFA Executives. Prominent American Football writer Paul Zimmerman has called Glanvillle “the greatest football writer of all time.”
