Zoravar misses final spot at Qatar Open

Zoravar Singh Sandhu missed a spot in the final of the men's trap event by two points at the Qatar Open shotgun championship.

In the men’s trap, Zoravar Singh Sandhu shot 119, falling two points short of a place in the final at the Qatar Open.

Zoravar Singh Sandhu shot 119 and missed the final by two points in men’s trap in the Qatar Open shotgun championship at the Lusail Complex in Doha on Sunday.

Zoravar had a series of 24, 25, 23, 25 and 22. Olympian Kynan Chenai and Prithviraj Tondaiman shot identical scores of 117.

In women’s trap, Shagun Chowdhary had the best score of 107 among the Indian shooters, that placed her 25th.

The junior men’s gold and silver medals were won by Vivaan Kapoor (118) and Manavaditya Rathore (115).
