Manisha Keer (64) and Vivaan Kapoor (60) shot 124 and were placed 20th in the mixed trap competition in the Shotgun World Cup in Siggiewi, Malta, on Thursday.

In a field of 39 teams, in which the fifth and last spot went into the final at 130, the second Indian team of Soumya Gupta (59) and Lakshay Sheoran (58) was placed 34th with 117.

It was, of course, a much better ranking than what the shooters had achieved individually, especially in men’s trap.

The results:

Men’s trap: 1. Aaron Heading (GBR) 42 (117); 2. Du Yu (Chn) 38 (118); 3. Marian Kovacocy (Svk) 30 (116); 60. Vivaan Kapoor 107; 90. Lakshay Sheoran 100; 94. Manavaditya Singh Rathore 99.
