Purav Raja wins doubles title in Istanbul Challenger

Purav Raja, in partnership with Australia's Rameez Junaid won the men's doubles title in the $75,000 ATP Challenger tennis tournament in Turkey.

Purav Raja and Rameez Junaid proved themselves as top seeds to defeat the pair of Timur Khabibulin and Vladyslav Manafov 7-6(4), 4-6, 10-7 and clinch the doubles title in the $75,000 ATP Challenger tennis tournament in Turkey.

It was the first title of the season for the 32-year-old Purav, who has won 14 Challenger titles so far with a variety of partners, apart from the two ATP titles in Bogota and Los Cabos with compatriot Divij Sharan.

The champion team collected 90 ATP points and $4,650, while the runners-up won 55 points and $2,700.
