Nick Kyrgios has announced he will not be competing at the Monte Carlo Masters.

The ATP Masters 1000 event begins on Sunday but the Australian, who is believed to be suffering from fatigue, has decided to delay the start of his clay-court season until the Estoril Open on May 1.

He posted on Twitter: "Unfortunately I won't be competing in Monaco as planned. I'm working hard to be ready for Estoril which will be my first clay court event."

Krygios has enjoyed an impressive 2017 season, suffering only four defeats this year.
