Asian championship silver medallist, Anu Raghavan, kept herself in race for a maiden Asian Games medal by qualifying for the final of the women’s 400m hurdles final, here on Sunday.

The 25-year-old from Kerala was third fastest in Heat 2 and also overall third with a timing of 56.77s. Joining her was compatriot Jauna Murmu (59.20s) as the last best loser.

Bahrain’s Oluwakemi Adekoya was the fastest woman, who clocked 54.87 and was followed by Vietnam’s Quach Thi Lan.
