Arjun Tendulkar got some useful tips from Team India coach Ravi Shastri

Later this week, Arjun Tendulkar will be at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru to prepare for the Sri Lanka tour. But before that, Arjun spent some time with the Indian team, which is presently in London.

Arjun, son of Indian icon, Sachin Tendulkar, has been named in India’s U-19 squad for the Sri Lanka tour. And at a time when the cricketing fraternity is busy predicting his future, the youngster made it a point to take a tip or two from the senior team’s head coach, Ravi Shastri.

As the Indian team trained in London, Arjun was seen around. As he sweated it out, Shastri too came up to him with some ‘words of wisdom’.

That's not all. Arjun also bowled to Virat Kohli at the nets. As the Indian team practised ahead of its tour to Ireland, Arjun bowled a few overs to the Indian captain.

Sources, who are in the know of things, have confirmed to this publication that Arjun has been in London for the last few days for training.

Ahead of his maiden tour with the India U-19 team, Arjun is working on a fewer areas, and sources indicate that the training abroad has helped him.

The youngster, however, will return home in the ‘next couple of days’ and then head to Bengaluru for the camp.
