Welcome to the highlights of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL T20) 2020 match between Barbados Tridents and St Lucia Zouks. This was Santadeep Dey bringing you all the action as it unfurled at the Queen's Park Oval.

BT 89/7 in 20 overs: Who would have expected this match to head into a last-over drama? I, for instance, didn't. But this has all panned out very differently. It won't be Williams but Chase, who will bowl the last over. And Nurse is gone, while looking to inch closer to the target! Hits it hard but the shot hasn't got the power to clear the lines. It drops well short as Zadran takes a brilliant catch at deep mid on. This has been a heist of the greatest proportion as Zouks seal the match. Nyeem Young needs to hit a six off the last delivery but all he can manage to do is run three. THIS IS THE LOWEST SCORE TO BE SUCCESSFULLY DEFENDED IN THE HISTORY OF THE CARIBBEAN PREMIER LEAGUE! THERE HAVE BEEN 62 DOT BALLS IN THIS INNINGS.

BT 84/6 in 19 overs: 13 off 12! And I thought this match will end in no time. The Zouks have done brilliantly to not leak runs and have stayed in the game by snapping up timely wickets. Singles are going to do the job here but will the Tridents let the pressure build? Oh god, what has Rashid done here? A miscue straight to the long off fielder! The Tridents need 9 off the last over now.

BT 80/5 in 18 overs: After a brief discussion among Sammy and a few others, Nabi walks in to bowl. Oh, well... well... well... this is turning into a twisted tale now. Anderson has been stumped! He decides to go big again but gets beaten on the flight. The Patriots meanwhile are in the house already to play a match against the Warriors at 3 a.m. IST tomorrow. Rashid Khan has walked in to bat. Afghanistan vs Afghanistan, it is!

BT 77/4 in 17 overs: Corey looks to go for a wild swipe to ease off some pressure but misses. Chase does the decent job of containing runs. Need 16 off 18 now. Are the Tridents making it look harder than it should be?

BT 74/4 in 16 overs: Nabi has been brought back in to contain the runs and look for some further damage. But the Tridents are not looking to take undue risks. Three runs off it. The Tridents need 19 off 24 balls now.

BT 71/4 in 15 overs: Zahir Khan, with figures of 3-0-17-1, thus far, is back into the attack. And he almost makes it two as the ball just zips past Nurse's bat!

BT 67/4 in 14 overs: And this is just the thing the Tridents would have wanted to happen at this stage of the match. Charles walks as Glenn picks up his very first wicket off the first ball in the 14th over. The St Lucian decides to go big but mishits it to Kesrick Williams, who pulls off a spectacular diving effort, running in from the long off region. Ashley Nurse is the one in at No 6.

BT 63/3 in 13 overs: Roston Chase to bowl. The runs are coming in singles now. Will Charles fire up the engine or are they looking to continue in the same manner?

BT 58/3 in 12 overs: Sammy in an animated discussion with Glenn, who will be bowling the next. Charles gets on his knees, looking to bludgeon the first ball for a six but has been beaten. The ball crashes into the pads, a few deliveries later, but the umpire isn't interested.

BT 55/3 in 11 overs: Three wickets in four overs have silenced Charles momentarily. He knows that the target isn't high enough and is resorting to some risk-free cricket for the time being.

BT 52/3 in 10 overs: There were no two ways about that. Holder's LBW, caught plumb in front - Williams bowls this one fuller and Holder looking to flick, misses. There will be a drinks break. The burly Corey Anderson has walked in to bat. He hasn't had the best of seasons this year except for the one innings against the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots. What can he do tonight?

BT 48/2 in 9 overs: Charles steals a boundary off the pad. A poor delivery from Zahir, down leg, and he has been punished. The very next ball has been hit nice, long and straight by Charles. Glenn's misfield only adds to the trouble. Four again!

BT 39/2 in 8 overs: Williams sticks to the tighter lines and doesn't leak runs. A decent over, that - only two off it.

BT 37/2 in 7 overs: Zahir's back and how! Kyle Mayers still has a lot of work to do when it comes to playing against wrist spinners. The delivery turns back in and Mayers, looking to play across the line misses it completely, sending the bails flying. Captain Holder to be tested now as he walks onto the pitch.

BT 34/1 in 6 overs: Kesrick Williams does the job for the Zouks. Gets greeted with a boundary off the very first ball but comes back well to trap Hope plumb in front. There is a strong appeal for a caught behind, off the very next ball, from the bowler, keeper and the slip but it all falls on deaf ears. That will be the end of the Powerplay as well.

BT 28/0 in 5 overs: There's a slip in place for Zahir Khan, who has walked in to bowl his first over. A fair amount of googlies then, it would seem? Charles, however, gets a boundary, hoicking a delivery on the channel of the off stump, to the long off area. The Zouks need a breakthrough, right about now!

BT 23/0 in 4 overs: Kuggeleijn, who normally bowls in the range of 130+ kmph, drops pace on the first one drastically, bowling at 110kmph, to trick Charles. He had almost nicked it, one can say. He almost gets him a second time as he spoons it within the 30-yard circle. Nabi runs in a great distance from long on but couldn't do much to reach underneath the ball in time.

BT 18/0 in 3 overs: Charles shimmies down leg to manufacture some room and helps the ball pierce straight through the offside area for a boundary. The right-hander works the last ball away to deep mid-on to bring curtains on what has been a good over for the Tridents.

BT 9/0 in 2 overs: Kuggeleijn, who had been very expensive in his first game, going for 42 runs, will be bowling from the other end. The Kiwi pacer has however recovered well to climb up to the second spot in the highest wicket-takers' list. That will, however, not deter Hope from going after him as he uses his wrists to perfection to open the face of the bat and utilising the pace on the ball to fire a Kohliesque boundary away towards deep backward point.

BT 3/0 in 1 over: Johnson Charles and Shai Hope will be opening the innings, as is customary. Mohammad Nabi will be the new-ball bowler for the Zouks, yet again. There is a brief appeal by the bowler but the ball appears to be going down legside.

SECOND INNINGS SLZ 92 in 18 overs:Rashid picks up the last wicket with the last delivery of his spell! Zahir looks to sweep but gets a thick underedge which goes on to rattle the stumps. WHAT. A. DISASTER.

SLZ 88/9 in 17 overs: Raymon Reifer is up against Kuggeleijn. And we have another wicket! Will the Zouks lose all wickets before getting done with their 20 overs? Zadran is out, picking out the deep square leg fielder Bishop who executes a wonderful diving effort. It did look like it had been grassed from an angle but the third umpire deems the dismissal legal. Onlytwo balls later, Kuggeleijn walks too, caught by Walsh! Oh dear... You just cannot keep Walsh out of today's game, can you?

SLZ 83/7 in 16 overs: Nyeem Young comes in to bowl his first over tonight. Keeps it tight and concedes just three runs.

SLZ 80/7 in 15 overs: The Zouks are all over the place! Glenn goes for eight as Nurse draws him in to go for the boundary with a full toss. Walsh, at deep square leg, holds on to a wonderful catch. New Zealand's Scott Kuggeleijn has walked out to the middle. This is only the second occasion when he has come out to bat in this edition.

SLZ 77/6 in 14 overs: Zadran hits Rashid for a boundary towards third man off the second ball. All the other deliveries are dots.

SLZ 73/6 in 13 overs: Bishop, who has represented the West Indies U-19 side, is back into the attack. He had been good in the couple of overs he bowled upfront. Will he taste blood again? Sammy's gone! Caught well short of his crease as he tries to run back, initially wanting to go for a quick single and pushing Zadran on strike. This is disappointing! Javelle Glen, who has walked in, starts off with a maximum! The ball's lost and a new one has to be taken.

SLZ 64/5 in 12 overs: Darren Sammy has walked in, the captain promoting himself up the order. He knows that he has to shoulder the responsibility of saving the game now. It is all about singles and doubles yet again. There is a confident LBW appeal off the fifth delivery but the umpire doesn't seem interested.

SLZ 59/5 in 11 overs:Mohammad Nabi now - the domino effect is on! Walsh is the man, once again... There is a sharp contrast between the Walsh we saw on Saturday and the version we see today. The Antiguan-American risks the flighted googly again, luring Nabi in to go for the biggie straight down the ground. Charles, at long off, takes a comfortable catch.

SLZ 58/4 in 10 overs: The Afghans - Nabi and Zadran - mostly resort to singles and doubles. With four down they will be looking to minimise the risk factor by not going for the big shots and boundaries. It is also time for the drinks break.

SLZ 52/4 in 9 overs: Walsh is on a roll! Chase has been sent back to the pavilion now. The wrong 'un comes to the bowler's rescue once again - inviting the batsman to go for the odd big shot before the ball turns into the off stump.

SLZ 49/3 in 8 overs: Ashley Nurse will be bowling the eighth over. Starts off with a wide way outside the line of off stump. More or less a good over until he gets hammered for a four towards the mid-wicket region off the fifth ball.

SLZ 43/3 in 7 overs: Walsh Jr finally gets Boucher but only after he hits him for a fine boundary off the fourth ball. The Barbadian wanders down the leg side, looking to invent some room and cut it down the point region. Walsh spots it early and goes for the quicker and flatter delivery aimed straight at the stumps. The batsman swings and misses as the ball crashes onto the off stump.

SLZ 35/2 in 6 overs: Rashid Khan, one of the deadliest operators in the format, has been brought on. And that is the exact reason why batsmen often tend to not go after him. Five runs come off that over and we have also come to the end of the Powerplay.

SLZ 30/2 after 5 overs: Hayden Walsh Jr has been brought into the attack. It will be interesting to see how he fares today especially after Kieron Pollard smashed him for some massive sixes the other night. A missed stumping! Leniko Boucher was as good as gone as he danced down the crease only to miss the line of a googly completely. Shai Hope did collect the ball behind the stumps but it slipped out of his gloves just before he could have managed to make a mess of the woodowork.

SLZ 23/2 in 4 overs: Holder is back into the attack. The last ball of the over goes for a boundary over the head of the 'keeper. The batting side, lucky, a second time!

SLZ 15/2 in 3 overs: Bishop almost gets Chase to walk - a flighted delivery and the batter, who was looking to flick it down leg, gets a leading edge and the ball balloons just wide of the point fielder. The batsman is lucky to survive, one must say. Only two runs come from that over.

SLZ 13/2 in 2 overs: Fletcher welcomes opponent skipper Jason Holder with a mammoth six off the first ball. Holder switches ends and WOAH! That has come out as some serious tactical move as Fletcher is out, the very next ball - trapped right in front! The batsman was looking for some space to flick this down legside but he misses the ball completely. An appeal follows and the umpire doesn't hesitate before raising his fingers.

SLZ 6/1 in 1 over: Antiguan Rahkeem Cornwall and 32-year-old Andre Fletcher will start things off for the Zouks. We will have a spinner bowling with the new ball - Joshua Bishop. That's an interesting call by Jason Holder. Will the move pay off?IT HAS!Bishop sends the dangerous Cornwall off, immediately after he gets hammered for a boundary towards the mid-off fence off the third ball. Cornwall plays a cut shot and the ball flies straight to the fielder stationed at point. Interestingly, Bishop had dismissed Cornwall in the 2019 edition as well. We are only minutes away from live action now!

TOSS UPDATE: Barbados Tridents have won the toss and elected to field first. Barbados Tridents will be eager to put their previous loss against the Trinbago Knight Riders behind them when they lock horns with the St Lucia Zouks today. The Tridents looked all set to win its third game on Saturday but Kieron Pollard's 28-ball 72 helped the Knight Riders continue their unbeaten run in the tournament. St Lucia Zouks, on the other hand, have looked solid, having held on to the second spot on the table for quite a while now.
