England is set to host South Africa in the opening game of the World Cup at the Oval on Thursday. The home side is the number one ranked team in ODI cricket and is riding a wave of good form heading into the tournament.

While it has steam-rolled Australia and Pakistan in recent times, historically it hasn't always had the best of records against South Africa.
