Kane Williamson won the toss as New Zealand opted to bowl against South Africa in Birmingham on Wednesday.

Team news: New Zealand is unchanged while South Africa got one change with Lungi Ngidi coming in.

Pitch report: The pitch looks suited for batting and with the sun out, ball is expected to come nicely onto the bat.

Weather: The sun is out after the toss delay due to wet outfield. However, there is rain expected later in the match.

Kane Williamson: We are coming from a long break and the guys are ready to go. We thought about Nicholls, Sodhi, but stuck to the same team for this game. We know every time we play against South Africa it's going to be a tough game.
