After a two day break following a heavy defeat to Mumbai Indians on Friday, Chennai Super Kings was back at training in full intensity on Monday ahead of its final home game against Delhi Capitals.

In the match against Mumbai, MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja did not play due to illness but on Monday Jadeja was back at training.

However, Dhoni, who had also missed a match against Sunrisers Hyderabad earlier in the season due to back spasms, did not train.

Having already qualified for the playoffs, CSK will hope to end its final home league game on Wednesday with a victory to better its chances of finishing in the top two, especially with the first qualifier to be played in Chennai.

Apart from the regulars like Shane Watson, Faf du Plessis, Suresh Raina, TN wicketkeeper batsman N Jagadeesan too had a good hit in the nets and was seen doing wicket keeping drills as well.

It will be interesting to see if the local lad gets a look in if Dhoni is unavailable though Ambati Rayudu donned the gloves against Mumbai.
