Sridhar happy with Kings XI’s show on field

Talking to the media on Sunday, R. Sridhar said, “Maxwell and Miller are two of the best in the world. Some of the Indian youngsters are also terrific.”

Despite its shorter duration, Sridhar felt fielding in Twenty20 demanded a lot more intensity.

Kings XI fielding coach R. Sridhar said he was pleased with his team’s fielding standards.

Talking to the media here on Sunday, he said, “Maxwell and Miller are two of the best in the world. Some of the Indian youngsters are also terrific.”

On managing the different fielders in the side, Sridhar said, “I am more of a messenger between the likes of say Maxwell, who is a very good fielder, and T. Natarajan, who is very young. All the inputs that I receive from the best in the team, I pass it on to the youngsters.”

Despite its shorter duration, Sridhar felt fielding in Twenty20 demanded a lot more intensity. “When you are playing a game that last three hours, you got to be more aggressive and intense.”
