New Zealand saw England pile on 241 for three after Tim Southee won the toss and elected to field first in the fourth Twenty20 International at McLean Park in Napier.

Dawid Malan and Eoin Morgan shared a record partnership of 182 runs for the third wicket, the highest ever for England, the former hitting an unbeaten 103 and Morgan hitting a 41-ball 91.

Malan reached his maiden T20I century off 48 balls, making him the fastest centurion in T20I cricket for England to better the 60-ball century by Alex Hales against Sri Lanka in 2014. Malan's knock included six sixes and nine fours, while Morgan cracked seven sixes and seven fours.

The record partnership also took England to its record T20I total, surpassing its previous-best of 230 for eight against South Africa at the 2016 T20 World Cup.
