Even though the transfer window is officially closed, clubs can still complete deals and can even be given extensions, so keep an eye out for that.

And that's a wrap, ladies and gents. The deadline day was undoubtedly dominated by the names of Aubameyang, Giroud, Ozil and Moura. It's a pity Mahrez's move to City didn't go through, that would have creates ripples as well. While we're discussing the names that hogged the limelight today, here's our pick of the top-five moves of the January transfer window .

---> Stoke City has signed Badou Ndiaye from Galatasaray for  €16million. The Senegal international completed his medical on Tuesday before personal terms were agreed and a work permit was secured on Wednesday. ( Report )

 

---> Amin Younes has rejected a January switch to Napoli and will remain with Ajax until the end of the season. ( Report )

---> Ayew to Swansea finalised? Swansea is reportedly on the verge of breaking its transfer record to re-sign Andre Ayew in a deal that could be worth up to £18million.

---> Mathieu Debuchy has joined Saint-Etienne until the end of the season after his contract was terminated by Arsenal. ( Report )

---> Samir Nasri has had his contract with Antalyaspor cancelled by mutual consent. The thirty-year-old has been released just five months into a two-year contract. ( Report )

---> Roma has signed Jonathan Silva on loan for the rest of the season from Sporting CP to plug the gap left by Emerson Palmieri's departure to Chelsea. ( Report )

---> Ademola Lookman is off to Bundesliga side RB Leipzig on a season-long loan from Everton.

---> A month after recalling Reece Oxford from his loan spell at Borussia Monchengladbach, West Ham have sent the teenager back to Die Fohlen. ( Report )

---> Arsenal fails to sign Jonny Evans. Its a well-known fact that Arsene Wenger is looking to strengthen his defence and made a £12million offer for Evans, but West Brom has turned down the offer. 

DONE DEAL! Tottenham has signed Lucas Moura for £25million. The Brazilian has joined Spurs from Paris Saint-Germain in a deal thought to be worth £25million.  Lucas became PSG's record signing when he arrived from Sao Paulo in January 2013 for €45m (£38m), but fell out of favour under Unai Emery and has now signed for Spurs until 2023. UPDATE: City has pulled put of the race to sign Mahrez. Leicester reportedly asked for £95m but City had none of it.

---> Here's something you wouldn't see too often, Championship side Sunderland has loaned out midfielder Didier Ndong to Watford for the rest of the season.

 

---> If it's any consolation to Leicester fans, the Foxes have signed 17-year-old Callum Wright from Blackburn on a three-and-a-half-year deal.

---> West Ham's Reece Oxford   will head to Borussia Monchengladbach on loan for the rest of the season. The defender will seek m more playtime in the Bundesliga after failing to get any real match time in the EPL.

---> DONE DEAL. Mitchy Batshuayi will don Dortmund's yellow jersey until the rest of the season.

 

---> A few reports are saying that Ozil rejected an offer from PSG to sign his new contract, which will make him the highest paid footballer in the Premier League.

  • Ozil continues to be a Gunner in what looks like a big move.
  • Badou Ndiaye passed his medical  test; expected to join Stoke.
  • Lucas Moura finished his medical proceedings ahead of his move from Paris Saint-Germain to Tottenham.

Report suggest that Andre Ayew’s £20m move from West Ham to Swansea is almost certain. This could mark the beginning of something good for the Ghanaian striker.

---> Arsenal's business isn't stopping anytime soon. Reports are coming in that Borussia Dortmund's wantaway striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is in the North Londoner's training ground to complete a £55.5m deal.
