Nongdamba Naorem of Mohun Bagan won the player-of-the-match award against BSS Sporting Club, while Aryan Club goalkeeper Abdul Kadir was adjudged man-of-the-match versus East Bengal. In today's Calcutta Football League (CFL) matches, both the Kolkata giants came out on top as expected. Both East Bengal and Mohun Bagan move up in the points table with these wins.

88' Another good save by Abdul Kadir!! Jaime Santos was literally one-on-one with the goalie and he had plenty of time there. He tried to go towards the keeper's left but Kadir bends down in time to complete the stop.

66' East Bengal hugely dominating possession here. Aryan FC goalie Kadir is coming off his line way too often to deny tthe EB attackers. His defence seems to be non-existent. The East Bengal Ultras are cheering their team on with loud chants.
61' AND IT'S 2-0!!! Jaime Santos Colado is the man of the moment! Another wonderful team move led to the goal. Santos brought in the ball from midfield and Didika joined the attack and he found Bidhyasagar Singh, who executed a two-touch pass, involving a turn, to Santos, who finished the job, with a delicate finish, for his side.

55' In the other match of the evening, MOHUN BAGAN is leading 2-1 against BSS SPORTING CLUB. Salvo Chamorro gave MB the lead in the 31st minute and Opoku equalised for BSS just three minutes later. In the second half, Nongdamba Naorem gave his side the lead woth a wonderful finish.
52' OFFSIDE! Brandon begins the move with a one-two. Samad is the player alongside him. Didika receives the ball and he tries to find Brandon with a through ball, but the EB forward is a tad offside.
48' A slow start to the second-half. Aryan Club players are taking shots from long in desperation and East Bengal keeper Mawia has no trouble in collecting them.
And the second-half begins!
Aryan Club goalkeeper Kadir made one or two good saves in the first-half. However, in spite of dominating a major part of the game, East Bengal couldn't manage many shots on target. And finally in the 42nd minute of the game, Lalrindika Ralte broke the deadlock to put his side ahead.
AND IT'S HALF-TIME!! EAST BENGAL 1 - 0 ARYAN CLUB.
45' Three minutes of stoppage time to be added on. East Bengal players are happy to pass the ball in their own half here. And the opposition doesn't seem bothered about it as well.
42' GOAL!!!! East Bengal scores first!! This was a brilliant team goal. Lalrindika Ralte with the final kick, which found the back of the net. Brandon, Haokip and Samad literally created the goal together. Brandon with the final assist. And all the Aryan Club defenders show their dejection evidently by screaming at one another.
39' WHAT A CHANCE! Samad dribbled past a number of opponents to take the ball close to goal. He puts in a wonderful low cross, which beats the goalkeeper and an incoming Haokip also misses it! Glorious opportunity for EB!!!
36' Brandon puts in a long ball for Samad, who is one-on-one with the goalkeeper. But the goalie does well to clear the ball just outside his penalty box. The ball somehow reaches Chika. Aryan FC on the counter now! Manoj Mohammad comes to EB's rescue with a splendid sliding tackle.
33' East Bengal is taking numbers forward during every attack but except the one instance when Bidhyasagar tried to head an Aidara corner into goal none of the other chances have threatened the opposition goalkeeper and his defence.
28' After a brief water break the SUBSTITUTION takes place. Mohammad Farid replaces Ejogu and East Bengal immediately wins a corner.
25' Another break in play. Ejogu has gone down and the Techno Aryan physio comes into the field to treat him. A stetcher is brought in now. Looks like a serious hamstring pull here.
20' Finally the corner is taken after a long time but the defence clears it away. The pace of the game has been very slow with only East Bengal creating half chances. But Aryan Club has done well to keep it goalless so far.
18' TWO CLOSE CHANCES! East Bengal's Brandon went in for a cross from the right flank but it ended up as a dangerous shot on target. Aryan Club shot-stopper Kadir did well to push it away. The rebound fell to Kasim Aidara who fired in a shot, which went out after being deflected of a defender. CORNER!
15' FREE-KICK for East Bengal! The Aryan club players are not happy with the referee's decision. It was a soft tackle and Bidhyasagar went down very easily. Jamie Santgos takes the kick and it's a poor one. Easily cleared away by the opposition.
10' Emmanuel wastes a good chance! Aryan is playing the long ball game and it falls sweetly to Emmanuel right outside the box. But his shot is poor and he skies it over the crossbar.
9' It's been a fast start to the game. Boithang Haokip plays a delicious through ball, cutting through the back line and finding Manoj, but he's offside.

Quess East Bengal is back in action after a disappointing end to its Durand Cup campaign, losing 2-1 to Gokulam Kerala in the semifinal . The Red and Gold brigade picked up its first points of CFL 2019 when it beat BSS Sporting club 2-1 on Sunday. Jaime Santos Colado and Bidyasagar Singh scored for East Bengal while William Opoku pulled one back for the visiting side in stoppage time.
East Bengal had suffered a shock 0-1 defeat against George Telegraph in its opening match of CFL Premier divison A.
Aryan Club, currently fourth on the table, has played four matches so far and has won only one, 4-3 against Peerless. It drew two matches, against Kalighat MS and Mohammedan Sporting Club, and lost 1-2 to George Telegraph.
