AGGREGATE SCORE: BARCELONA 4-2 NAPOLI TODAY'S FINAL SCORE: BARCELONA 3-1 NAPOLI

HIGHLIGHTS FULL-TIME: THE WHISTLE HAS BEEN BLOWN! So it is going to be Barcelona vs Bayern in the quarterfinals... Quique Setien's side has yet again made its way into the Final 8 again and deservedly so.

90 + 4' Koulibaly's cross has been hooked out by Pique again.

90 + 1' SUBSTITUTION AND YELLOW CARD: Luis Suarez has been shown his first yellow card in the competition this season after he delays walking out of the pitch with Junior Firpo all set to come in.

90' We wll have five minutes of added time, ladies and gentlemen! Meanwhile, a cross from the right flank by Di Lorenzo has been headed clear by Pique in the middle of the box.

86' Di Lorenzo taking quiet the risk there as he tries to hold off Messi at the edge of the box. Messi wins it but Manolas saves the Italian side from further embarrassment by playing it down to Ospina.

83' SUBSTITUTION: 20-year-old Monchu has been called on for Barcelona's Antoine Griezmann.

82' We have a brief interruption here as Suarez receives some treatment for a hit on the back of his head by Manolas.

80' Milik powers a header into Barcelona's goal but the flag's up. Offside! Just when Gennaro Gattuso thought his sub call has paid huge dividends...

79'DOUBLE SUBSTITUTIONS FOR NAPOLI: Eljif Elmas IN Ruiz OUT. Arkadiusz Milik IN Insigne OUT.

77' Politano plays the setpiece short to Insigne whose shot takes a deflection off the Barca defence to go out for another corner.

74' Messi tries to size it all up from a long way out on the right as he tries to send in a cross into the box off a free-kick but finds Manolas. Crisis averted for Napoli!

69'TWIN NAPOLI SUBSTITUIONS: Matteo Politano and Hirving Lozano have walked in for Callejon and Zielinski, respectively.

65' Manolas will be a relieved man after Alba misjudges the power on a long pass to Messi on the left. The Argentine tries to keep it in but Ospina gets his gloves to it before Suarez could intervene.

63' Semedo, quick on his feet, tries to lay it in the path of Messi at the centre but he miscues this one.

59' We have the first yellow card of the night as Zielinski goes into the book for pulling off a late challenge on Messi who was dashing ahead on a counter attack after Rakitic was looking to play on a quickly taken throw-in.

58' Ter Stegen punches Callejon’s effort clear.

55' Napoli dictating proceedings in the second half for quite some time now. They get a throw-in from a vital spot but ter Stegen personally sees to it that there is no further damage.

52' Napoli has another chance at goal courtesy a corner after Callejon's ball gets cleared by Pique.

50' Barcelona wins a freekick after Koulibaly fouls Semedo as he leaps up to head the ball into outer space.

49' Zielinski has been fouled and the Italian side has won a freekick from a dangerous spot. Koulibaly's header goes out for a corner off Pique.

46' Fabian Ruiz, on the right wing, has been dispossessed by Pique. The Barca defender has cleared the ball.

45' SUBSTITUTION: Napoli's Stanislav Lobotka is on for Diego Demme. Second half HALF-TIME: I am struggling to remember a more entertaining 45 minutes of football in recent times. It has been a busy night for VAR. The second half should be interesting. 45 + 5' GOAL! Insigne maintains his 100% penalty record this season to slam it in. Maybe, it is not all over. Ter Stegen dances around at the line but Insigne calmly makes it 3-1.

45 + 1' Oh, the drama continues! Napoli has been awarded a penalty now after Rakitic shoves Insigne from behind and he crashes down within the box. The referee didn't hesitate to point at the box straightaway. It is all happening here at Camp Nou. Pique is asking for a VAR check. 45' We will have an added time of five minutes!

45' PENALTY IT IS! Luis Suarez facing David Ospina... aaaaaand he scores. The goalkeeper went the wrong way altogether. Messi wasn't even looking at it all and now he smiles and hobbles on to celebrate with his teammates.

40' VAR has a third decision to assess here. Messi takes a whack on his left ankle after Koulibaly tries to clear the ball from within the box. Both go down and are receiving treatment in the meantime. Looks like a penalty to me. 36' Napoli wins a free-kick on the left wing near the host's penalty area but Lorenzo Insigne's effort has been headed away to safety by Pique.

29' Strike that! VAR intervenes and the goal has been disalllowed. It is a handball as the replays show that Messi got a slight touch of the arm before slotting it home. He lets out a wry smile. Napoli heaves a sigh of relief.

25' A Suarez curler glides wide off the woodwork.

23' MESSIAH TO THE RESCUE! 2-0 up at home is Barcelona. Luis Suarez sweeps it over to Messi, who picks it up at the edge of the box on the right and dances past three defenders. The star striker loses his balance midway but picks himself up to trick Koulibaly and drive it to the far corner of the net. Ospina throws himself onto the right but could only get his fingers onto it.

20' Messi's cross off a Frenkie de Jong pass has been headed clear by the Napoli defence. 17' Semedo breaks into a quick run charging past a few Napoli players but the Portuguese defender doesn't find anyone to play it on to.

14' Rakitic tries his luck from a long way out but his effort has flown off target as well. 10' GOAAAAAL!Clement Lenglet nods it home and how! He surges ahead, unmarked, to get to the other end of an Ivan Rakitic corner and puts Barcelona comfortably ahead. There is a VAR check for a possible foul during the build-up but the goal has been awarded to the Blaugrana.

7' Mertens charges down the left to lay one for Ziolinski at the fringes. The latter pulls the trigger but... no harm done.

5' We are only five minutes into the game and it is the visitor who has enjoyed all the possession, thus far. Barcelona needs to up the ante to avoid messing up the scoreline this early. Meanwhile, Zielinski takes a shot in the dark from halfway after spotting Marc-Andre ter Stegen off his line. It has sailed wide.

1' MERTEEEENSSSS! Oh, no! An incredible opportunity has been wasted! Mario Rui plays it in from the left and the ball ricochets off Gerard Pique's shin to bounce on towards Dries Mertens who looks to hook the volley from the edge of the six-yard box. The effort finds the outside of the post. KICKOFF: "Peeeeeep!," goes the referee's whistle and Napoli has set the ball rolling at Camp Nou. It has been five years since Barcelona has laid its hand on the UCL trophy. Will it inch a bit closer to the silverware today? A moment of silence is being observed in memory of all victims of the COVID-19 pandemic. First half

MATCH PREVIEW After having three weeks to rest and process its turbulent end to the domestic campaign, Barcelona returns to action in Saturday's Champions League last-16 second leg at home to Napoli, with coach Quique Setien's future on the line.

The tie is balanced at 1-1 following February's first leg in Naples, with the victor earning a ticket to the final eight tournament in Lisbon later in the month, a solution to the competition being disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Even though the draw was not the worst result for Barca, its performance was slammed by captain Lionel Messi, which declared it would have no hope of winning Europe's top prize if it continued to play as it did in Naples.

Messi's damning assessment of the team came home to roost when the season re-started after the coronavirus stoppage and Barca surrendered the league title to Real Madrid, prompting the captain to launch a new tirade against the team.

The Argentine's outburst was interpreted as a swipe against Setien, who had never managed a team in the Champions League until he succeeded Ernesto Valverde in January and ended the campaign shorn of credit.

Even though president Josep Maria Bartomeu gave Setien a vote of confidence ahead of the second leg, it is hard to see the coach surviving a potential elimination to Napoli.

After all, the Champions League has become an obsession for Barca ever since its last triumph in 2015, while Valverde was dismissed due to his inability to steer the team to European glory even though his side won back-to-back league titles.

The Catalans will be without the suspended Sergio Busquets and Arturo Vidal but are boosted by the return of Dutch midfielder Frenkie de Jong and French forwards Ousmane Dembele and Antoine Griezmann. ALSO WATCH |

“The first leg was a difficult game for us, they put a lot of men behind the ball and it was not our best game or result but I believe we can do better against them now,” De Jong told Barca's website.

Napoli meanwhile is sweating on the fitness of forward Lorenzo Insigne after he hurt a thigh muscle in his team's last game of the season as it came seventh in Serie A, its worst domestic finish since 2009.

Barcelona (4-3-3): Marc-Andre ter Stegen; Nelson Semedo, Gerard Pique, Clement Lenglet, Jordi Alba; Ivan Rakitic, Frenkie de Jong, Riqui Puig; Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Antoine Griezmann
