Croatia enters the lemon-break with a 1-0 lead. The Croats took the lead in the most unlikeliest of circumstances when Oghenekaro Etebo diverted a Mario Mandzukic header into his own net.

Mandzukic fired a low diving header that seemed to drift a tad wide of the goal but Etebo, somehow, managed to put it into the back of his goal, giving Croatia a 29th minute lead.
