It was Sunita's assist that allowed Avika to perfectly time her tap into the Pakistan goal to earn India the lead. Following the opener, Pakistan pressed on the defensive mode and continues to defend well. Its goalkeeper Ayesha was having a busy schedule on the field and mostly did a remarkable job, until the 43rd minute, when a miscue resulted in an unfortunate own goal.
In the second half, India mounted more pressure on Pakistan and also dominated the possession. In the 82nd minute, it was Sunita, who did a good job to triple the lead, while six minutes later, it was Shilky, who went for an attack right from the midfield and made no mistake in making it 4-0, which turned out to be the winner for the Indians.
