Blow for Mumbai as Andre Moritz heads home

ISL outfit Mumbai City FC were today dealt a blow as attacking midfielder Andre Moritz is heading back home owing to personal reasons and will not take part in the rest of the tournament.

ISL outfit Mumbai City FC were today dealt a blow as attacking midfielder Andre Moritz is heading back home owing to personal reasons and will not take part in the rest of the tournament.

“We would hereby like to announce that due to some personal emergency which requires him to go back home immediately, Andre Moritz will not be with us to play for the rest of the Hero ISL 2015. Upon his request, we are relieving him from team duties for the rest of the season. The team wishes him the very best,” Indranil Das Blah, CEO, Mumbai City FC, said in a statement.

Mumbai City FC are currently placed seventh in the standings having lost and drawn a game each.
