Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has offered his support to coach Rafa Benitez following his side’s embarrassing 4-0 defeat against Barcelona in their La Liga clash.

While backing Benitez, who was also asked to resign by angry fans, Perez said that the team will give complete support and confidence to the former.

Perez insisted the team has been struggling since January and the coach needs time to fix things.

With their second defeat of the league, Real have slipped down to third in the table, with 24 points from 12 matches. Real will now lock horns with Eibar on November 29.
