After Melbourne City FC handed out a 6-0 thrashing to ISL side Kerala Blasters on Tuesday, the Australian team will clash with Girona FC Nehru Stadium here on Friday evening in what could virtually be the title-decider of the three-team Toyota Yaris La Liga World pre-season football tournament.
Spain's Girona, ranked No. 10 in the FIFA World rankings, had stunned giant Real Madrid in one of its La Liga games last season but Bernardo Jose, the team’s seasoned defender feels that football could be full of surprises.

“Football is an amazing game, that is the magic about football, anything can happen,” said Girona’s 29-year-old Columbian, who had played for La Liga side Sevilla and English Premier League team Middlesbrough earlier, here on Thursday evening.
“Obviously, when you have games against teams that have never played against each other, there is that doubt about how we are going to perform and about the difference in levels but as I said before, football is an amazing game.”
Australia is on the 36th rung in the FIFA rankings. Girona takes on host Kerala Blasters in the tournament's final match on Saturday.
