R. E. Rajendra wins MRF Rally de Mangaluru

Having sealed the overall championship in the 260cc class in the previous round, Rajendra moved up to the top category in Puttur to triumph by 40 seconds.

R.E. Rajendra of TVS Racing upstaged team-mate R. Nataraj to win the MRF Rally de Mangaluru, the final round of the MRF Mogrip National Rally Championship 2018 for two-wheelers. Having sealed the overall championship in the 260cc class in the previous round, Rajendra moved up to the top category in Puttur to triumph by 40 seconds.

Nataraj, though, had already secured the championship in the Super Bike Pro-Expert A class on the back of some consistent performances in the previous five rounds.

The event highlighted TVS Racing's dominance of the National two-wheeler championship, with the team emerging on top in four categories. That included the Group-B Ladies class, where Aishwarya Pissay held off U. Fazeela to defend her crown.
