After her silver medal in Ghent (Belgium) last week , Bhavani Devi bagged the bronze in the women's sabre category of the Tournoi Satellite fencing tournament Reykjavik, Iceland on Saturday. The 26-year-old Indian finished joint third alongside Hong Kong's Au Sin Ying, with two points.

"In the last three weeks there was lot of competition, so I think I'm a bit tired. Despite that, my performance has been consistent. But I am not satisfied [with the third place]. I am confident that I will do better next time," Bhavani told Sportstar .

There are other competitions lined up for the Indian fencer - World Cup, Grand Prix and satellite events - lined up until the end of March that will be considered for Olympic qualification. The top two players from the Asian zone in the World rankings will qualify for the 2020 Olympics to be held in Tokyo, Japan.
