Ashwajit wins AITA super series juniors title

Ashwajit Senjam beat Parth Deorukhakar 2-6, 6-4, 7-5 to win the under-18 boys title in the AITA Super series junior tennis tournament at the Harvest Academy, Jassowal, on Friday.

Ananya Dhankhar beat Divya Ungrish 7-6(4), 6-0 for the under-18 girls title. Divya lost the under-16 final to Sanjana Sangram, but won the under-18 doubles title in partnership with Ruhani Kaur Sidhu.

Arjun, Ruchita win mixed air pistol gold at Kumar Surendra Singh championship

Arjun Das and Ruchita Vinerkar won the mixed air pistol gold for Railways with a 16-12 victory over Shital and Aniket of Maharashtra in the 21st Kumar Surendra Singh pistol championship at the Madhya Pradesh Academy in Bhopal on Friday.
