Karun Chandhok is a former Formula One driver who drove for Hispania Racing in the 2010 season. Before entering Formula One, he competed in the GP2 Series for three years, winning two races. He also took part in the Formula E for Mahindra Racing. Karun participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans for three seasons until 2015. The Chennai-born racer was a commentator for BBC Radio 5 Live and Sky Sports F1 from 2013-2015. Last year, he joined Channel 4 as a Technical Analyst and pitlane reporter. Born on January 19, 1984, Karun is the son of Vicky Chandhok, a multiple Indian rally champion and former president of the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India.
