Anjum Moudgil tops women's field in shooting trials

After qualifying in the third place with 629.0, behind Aayushi Gupta and Shreya Agrawal, Anjum Moudgil topped with 252.7 in the final, 0.8 point ahead of Aayushi.

World Championship silver medallist Anjum Moudgil continued to assert her hold over the air rifle as she topped the women’s field in the National shooting selection trials at the Dr. Karni Singh Range, Tughlakabad, on Wednesday.

After qualifying in the third place with 629.0, behind Aayushi Gupta and Shreya Agrawal, Anjum topped with 252.7 in the final, 0.8 point ahead of Aayushi.

Elavenil Valarivan was third among the women and second among the juniors in which Shreya Agrawal topped. Mehuli Ghosh was third among juniors, while Arnisha Chowdhury topped among the youth women.

For juniors and youth, there was no final.
