NRAI signs deal with JSW till 2024 Olympics

The main focus of the partnership is to identify, train and develop shooting in the country.

The National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) has signed a deal with the JSW Group till the Paris Olympics in 2024, in an exclusive partnership to identify, train and develop shooting in the country.

As part of the agreement, signed by the NRAI president Raninder Singh and Parth Jindal of JSW Sports, JSW will fund NRAI’s high performance requirements to development the Indian shooters for the next two Olympics.

The shooters will also have access to JSW’s high performance resources and experts for training and development. Thus, the shooters will get to train at the top class Inspire Institute of Sport (IIS) established by JSW in Karnataka.

"India has been a power house in the world of shooting. Our association with JSW reiterates our commitment to provide our shooters with greater access to world class resources, experts and training facilities," said Raninder Singh.

"We endeavour to achieve systemic growth and sustainable results. We realise that the most effective way to achieve this in developing talent is to support systems. The NRAI has been one of the most successful federations over the past few years," said Parth Jindal, emphasising the support to one of the best sports systems in the country.
