Pawan Singh to train shooting judges in Beijing

Pawan Singh becomes the first Indian to be appointed by the ISSF to train future judges for rifle and pistol competitions.

Pawan Singh, the joint secretary of the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI), will conduct training for shooting judges during the upcoming Shooting World Cup in China next month.

A special camp is scheduled in Beijing from March 25, 2019 to March 31, 2019. Pawan will train the participants to become jury for the Shooting World Cups organised by the International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF).

China has always been known for having excellent infrastructure for sports and is also the leading country when it comes to shooting.

Pawan, who is the co-founder of the Gun for Glory Shooting Academy in Pune and who has also served as the national shooting team coach, is the first Indian to be appointed by the world body to train future judges for rifle and pistol competitions. He was the Competitions Manager during the recent ISSF World Cup held in New Delhi.
