Jeevan-Purav, Leander in Lyon quarterfinals

Jeevan and Purav defeated Mao-Xin Gong of China and Lloyd Harris of South Africa 1-6, 6-3, 10-7 to enter the quarterfinals in Lyon, France.

Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan and Purav Raja beat Mao-Xin Gong of China and Lloyd Harris of South Africa 1-6, 6-3, 10-7 in the doubles pre-quarterfinals of the € 586,140 ATP tennis tournament in
Lyon, France, on Tuesday.

Jeevan and Purav will play fourth seeds Luke Bambridge and Jonny O’Mara of Britain in the quarterfinals.

The Indian pair joined compatriot Leander Paes who had made the doubles quarterfinals earlier with Benoit Paire of France. The pair defeated wildcards Ugo Humbert and Tristan Lamasine.
