Prarthana-Frech pair bows out of WTA meet in Auckland

Prarthana Thombare, in partnership with Magdalena Frech of Poland, was beaten 4-6, 7-6(3), 10-3 by second seeds Nao Hibino of Japan and Darija Jurak of Croatia in the doubles quarterfials of the $250,000 WTA tennis tournament in Auckland on Friday.

The Indo-Polish pair collected 60 WTA points and $1820.
