In the ITF men’s Futures in Thailand, eighth seed Manish Sureshkumar beat Marsel Ilhan of Turkey 3-6, 6-4, 6-1 in the quarterfinals. He will play Vladyslav Orlov of Ukrain in the semifinals.

Arjun Kadhe, seeded No.1 with Timur Khabibulin of Kazakhstan, made the doubles final. The Indo-Kazakh pair will play second seeds, the Ratiwatana twins, Sanchai and Sonchat.

In the $25,000 ITF women’s event in Portugal, lucky-loser Shrivalli Rashmikaa Bhamidipaty was beaten 6-3, 6-2 in the pre-quarterfinals by Mari Osaka, elder sister of two-time Grand Slam champion and World No.2 Naomi Osaka, of Japan.
