Sania Mirza registers first win of 2017 with Bethanie Mattek-Sands

Sania Mirza's 2017 started with a victory when she and her partner, Bethanie Mattek-Sands, defeated Alizé Cornet and Elise Mertens in the first round of the Brisbane International tournament on Tuesday.

Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Sania Mirza defeated Alizé Cornet and Elise Mertens 6-1, 6-1 within 43 minutes.
