Jeev Milkha Singh celebrates winning the Bank Austria Open trophy in the Fontana golf course in Oberwalterdorf, some 20 kms from Vienna.

Honestly, Sportstar has done a splendid job of getting the right message out for the sports lovers, including golfers, of this country and beyond. It has maintained honesty while writing the articles. It has been straight and to-the-point, in reaching out to the public. You guys have done exceptionally well for golf. You have told the public this is the way we write and this is the way to be objective.

Most of those writing for you, whether sports journalists or people who have played the sport, have a lot of knowledge. You are professional people, exceptional in your job. And that’s the good part. When you have professionals writing the sport, the way the articles are written and the way you reach out to your readers, I think, it’s fantastic.

It is a fantastic magazine. Thanks for covering golf the way you guys do. Dad (Milkha Singh) and I keep track of it. He recalls the way you covered him in the earlier avataar (in Sport & Pastime ) of the magazine. Again, to-the-point and honest. That’s what makes you people credible. I just feel that the magazine will continue to do well. Being the only sports magazine in the country, it has stood the test of times. I wish the magazine and those behind it, all the best.
