It is Day Two in the four Ranji Trophy quarterfinals and welcome to Sportstar's LIVE coverage of all matches. We had a whirlwind day on Thursday with the Karnataka bowlers running through the 'famed' Mumbai batting line up while a delayed start in Surat meant Vidarbha could only manage 45 runs on day one. In Jaipur, a 175-run partnership between Abhimanyu Easwaran and Anustup Majumdar meant Bengal scored 261/6 against defending champion Gujarat while Madhya Pradesh scored 223 on the first day, losing six wickets on Delhi.

Karnataka vs Mumbai at Nagpur
(Our correspondent Amol Karhadkar from Nagpur adds)
4.50 pm: End of the second day's play . Karnataka, resuming on 115/1, has taken the all-important first innings lead and finishes the second day on 395/6, a lead of 222 . Shreyas Gopal on 80 and Vinay Kumar on 31 will resume proceedings on Saturday. The duo have added an unbeaten 74 runs for the 7th wicket. Shivam Dube is the pick of the bowlers for Mumbai, picking up five out of the six wickets. He returns with figures of 5/79.
4.05 pm: Karnataka's lead goes past the 200-run mark. Shreyas Gopal on 68 and Vinay Kumar on 24 have taken Karnataka to 375/6 in 111 overs, a 54-run unbeaten partnership for the 7th wicket.
3.23 pm: Karnataka goes past the 350-run mark. It is on 352/6 after 101 overs with a healthy lead of 179. Shreyas Gopal on 55 and captain Vinay Kumar on 14 in the middle.
3.12 pm: Shreyas Gopal gets to a 50! He has played 88 balls with 6 fours. Karnataka on top at 341/6, lead by 168.
2.45 pm: Right after tea, Shivam Dube traps Gautam leg before for 79. Karnataka loses its sixth wicket on 321, lead by 148. And its a five-for for Dube . He has figures of 23-3-69-5 now! Gautam and Shreyas have added 103 runs for the 6th wicket.
2.15 pm: Gautam and Shreyas have extended their association to 91, and the lead to 136, as Karnataka sits pretty at 309/5 at tea .
2.09 pm: Karnataka gets to 300. Gautam on 69 and Shreays on 32 have propelled Karnataka to 305/5 in 88 overs, a lead of 132. In the process, the duo have added an unbroken 87 runs for the sixth wicket.
1.43 pm: C.M. Gautam's maiden fifty of the season is helping Karnataka take the game away from Mumbai. As a last-ditch effort to break the partnership between the wicketkeeper and all-rounder Shreyas Gopal, Mumbai takes the new ball as soon as it was available. Karnataka, meanwhile, have raced to 273/5, with a lead of 100.
1.27 pm: Gautam gets to a 50, off 66 balls with 8 fours and 1 six. Karnataka going strong at 262/5, a lead of 89.
1.15 pm: Shivam Dube scalped Kaunain Abbas soon after lunch. Had Suryakumar Yadav at first slip not dropped CM Gautam off Akash Parkar, Mumbai would have been sitting right on top. Since then, Gautam has started playing his shots, helping Karnataka rush to 247/5, with a lead of 74 runs.
12.58 pm: Karnataka gets a 50-run lead. 223/5 with C.M. Gautam on 22 and Shreyas Gopal on 1 in the middle.
12.45 pm: Shivam Dube takes his fourth wicket! Abbas is trapped in front for 50. Dube has figures of 17.4-3-40-4 now. Karnataka 218/5.
12.35 pm: Kaunain Abbas gets to his 50. He has played 136 balls and his knock includes 6 fours. Karnataka 212/4.
11.30 am: Lunch on day two! Karnataka is 190/4 in 60 overs, leading Mumbai by 17 runs. Kaunain Abbas (39) and C.M. Gautam (5) will resume after the break. Karnataka may have taken the lead but the first session has belonged to Mumbai.
11.26 am: Karnataka loses its fourth wicket for 183 on the board. Pavan Deshpande is the man dismissed for 8. Dube takes his third wicket.
10.48 am: Karnataka has taken the first innings lead . It leads by 1. 174/3 in 51 overs.
10.30 am: Shivam Dube gets the ball to shape in and trap Karun Nair (16 off 42) in front of the wickets. Karnataka still doesn't have the lead yet and Mumbai looks to be back in the game. Karnataka 161/3, trail by 12.
10.20 am: Karnataka moves to 157/2 in 45 overs. Karun Nair has joined Abbas and they are on 13 and 24 respectively. Karnataka is just 16 runs behind Mumbai now.
9.42 am: Mumbai's wait for a breakthrough ends 40 minutes into the day's play as a miscue pull off debutante Shivam Malhotra results in Mayank Agarwal's dismmisal. He is caught by Aditya Tare for 78. Karnataka still is in the driver' seat, having cruised to 135/2, 38 runs behind Mumbai in the its first innings.
9.24 am: Abbas and Mayank have made a cautious start. It is always that the first hour of the day, which is important. Karnataka moves to 125/1 in 34 overs.
On Mumbai's collapse, Dhawal Kulkarni minced no words in admitting that the batsmen lacked common sense. This is what he had to say.

9.00 am: Karnataka resumes from 115/1 at stumps , with Kaunain Abbas on 12 off 35 and Mayank Agarwal on 62 off 83.

Kerala vs Vidarbha at Surat

5.10 pm: End of the second day's play . Kerala must be kicking themselves hard for letting an advantage slip. Kerala finishes the second day on 32/2 in 7 overs , trailing Vidarbha by 214 runs. Jalaj Saxena on 13 and Rohan Prem on 5 have a lot of work to do on Saturday.
4.55 pm: Double jolt for Kerala. Warrier departs for no score, bowled by R.N. Gurbani. Kerala 24/2 in 3.3 overs.
4.50 pm: Kerala loses its first wicket, in the 3rd over. Lalit Yadav castles Mohammed Azharuddin for 8. Kerala 23/1.
4.20 pm: Finally it had to be the league's highest wicket taker Jalaj Saxena to break the last wicket partnership of 53. That must have frustrated Kerala a lot. Lalit Yadav is out for 24 (48), caught by Arun Karthick and Vidarbha ends its first innings on 246 .
3.40 pm: Vidarbha goes to tea at 228/9 in 100 overs . A. Wakhare on 19 and Lalit Yadav on 18 in the middle. The last wicket pair have frustrated Kerala by adding 35 runs so far in 11 overs. Kerala would hope to wrap up things as fast as possible after the resumption of play.
3.11 pm: Vidarbha huffs and puffs past the 200-run mark. 203/9 in 92.3 overs.
2.57 pm: Wadkar departs the next ball. Caight by Nidheesh off Basil Thampi for 53 (147). Vidarbha 193/9.
2.55 pm: Meanwhile, Wadkar completes a 50, off 146 balls. Vidarbha 193/8.
2.50 pm: Eight down for Vidarbha and Akshay takes a five-for . R.N. Gurbani departs for 3, caught by K.B. Arun Karthik and Vidarbha is 183/8. Akshay has figures of 25-6-54-5.
2.15 pm: K.C. Akshay strikes and breaks the 74-run stand for the 7th wicket by sending back A. Sarvate for 36 (76). He is caught by Salman Nazir and Vidarbha is 170/7. It is Akshay's 4th wicket and he has figures of 20-6-40-4 now.
1.25 pm: Wadkar and Sarvate are pulling Vidarbha out of a hole. Their 7th wicket partnership inching towards the 50-run mark. Vidarbha 143/6 in 70 overs. Kerala needs to tighten the screws if it needs to restrict Vidarbha to under 200, which would prove a tad easy for Kerala when it bats.
12.00 noon: Lunch time! Vidarbha on 109/6 , with A.V. Wadkar on 13 and A. Sarvate on 8. Kerala has ruled the first session here.
11.43 am: Vidarbha gets to the 100-run mark. 101/6 in 52 overs.
11.38 am: Jalaj Saxena strikes again. Vidarbha loses its 6th wicket. Karn Sharma is dismissed for 31 (86), trapped in front. Vidarbha 95/6.
11.20 am: Vidarbha loses half its side for 87 on the board. Kerala is getting on top in this game. A.V. Wankhade is the man dismissed for 15 (34), caught by Sanju Samson off K.C Akshay. Vidarbha 87/5.
10.30 am: Ganesh Satish departs for 9 and Vidarbha loses its fourth wicket for 62. Satish is caught by Mohammed Azharuddin off Jalaj Saxena. Vidarbha 62/4 in 37 overs.
9.55 am: Ganesh Satish and Karn Sharma have negotiated the first 25 minutes carefully and have propelled Vidarbha to 53/3 in 29 overs.
9.30 am: Vidarbha will resume from 45/3 in 24 overs . Ganesh Satish on 7 off 20 balls and Karn Sharma on 7 off 10 balls in the middle.

Delhi vs Madhya Pradesh at Vijayawada
5.05 pm: Stumps on day two . Delhi finishes the day on 180/2 in 51 overs with Kunal Chandela unbeaten on 73 and Nitish Rana unbeaten on 17. It trails Madhya Pradesh by 158 runs. Resuming on Saturday, Delhi would hope to seize the advantage by taking the lead while MP would eye early wickets to dent Delhi's progress.
4.32 pm: Dhruv Shorey departs for 78 (120) after being caught by Rajat Patidar off Ankit Sharma. The 145-run partnership for the second wicket between Kunal Chandela and Dhruv comes to an end. Delhi 151/2, trails Madhya Pradesh by 187 runs.
4.14 pm: Kunal Chandela gets to a 50, off 118 balls and that includes 4 boundaries and 1 six.
4.11 pm: Kunal Chandela (45) and Dhruv Shorey (71) are going strong and Delhi is 123/1 in the 38th over. The partnership is now 117 runs.
3.20 pm: 50 for Dhruv Shorey. 51 runs off 68 balls with 8 fours and Delhi 91/1.
2.40 pm: Tea time! Delhi 82/1 in 22 overs. Kunal Chandela on 31 and Dhruv Shorey on 45.
1.50 pm: Kunal Chandela (11) and Dhruv Shorey (28) steady Delhi's ship and it moves to 45/1 after 10 overs, trailing MP by 293 runs.
1.08 pm: A shocker of a start by Delhi. Gautam Gambhir looked good for two balls, even scored a boundary off one but Ishwar Pandey breaches the defence of the former India opener to leave Delhi at 6/1 after 0.3 overs.
12.55 pm: Manan Sharma picks up his fourth wicket and Madhya Pradesh is bowled out for 338 in its first innings . Chandrakant Sakure could only last two balls and offered a catch to Kulwant Khejroliya. Sharma returns with figures of 15.1-2.46-4. Harpreet Singh Bhatia is stranded at the other end on 107*.
12.50 pm: Madhya Pradesh is nine down. Manan Sharma castles Ishwar Pandey for 8 and MP is 334/9.
11.59 am: Mihir Hirwani departs for 15, caught by Rishabh Pant off Manan Sharma. Madhya Pradesh 324/8 in 120.3 overs and the umpires call lunch .
11.50 am: Century for Harpreet Singh Bhatia . He has reached the landmark in 184 balls with 14 fours. MP 317/7.
11.21 am: Madhya Pradesh gets to the 300-run mark. Harpreet Sinh unbeaten on 92 and Mihir Hirwani on 4. MP 303/7.
10.55 am: Harpreet Singh is anchoring MP's innings now. He is on 70 and with him giving company is Mihir Hirwani, on 2, as MP moves to 279/7 in the 107th over.
10.20 am: Madhya Pradesh loses its 7th wicket. Puneet Datey is the man dismissed for 35 (73), caught by Nitish Rana off Navdeep Saini. MP 266/7.
9.55 am: MP 243/6 in 95 overs. Harpreet Singh (59) and Puneet Datey (16) in the middle.
9.40 am: Harpreet Singh Bhatia gets to his 50. He has played 109 balls with 6 fours. MP 226/6.
9.30 am: MP starts the day at 223/6 in 90 overs. Harpreet Singh is on 47 and Puneet Datey is on 8.

Gujarat vs Bengal at Jaipur

5.20 pm: Stumps on day two! Gujarat wobbling at 180/6 in 59 overs , trailing Bengal by 174 runs. R.H. Bhatt (13) and Piyush Chawla (22) are holding fort. For Bengal, B. Amit is the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3/46.
4.21 pm: Amit is on fire. Picks up the second wicket in the over. He sends Chirag Gandhi back for 4. Gujarat 144/6, trailing Bengal by 210 runs.
4.19 pm: Gujarat is sliding here. It loses half its side for 140, with B. Amit sending B.H. Merai back for 67 (116).
4.10 pm: Manpreet Juneja is trapped in front for 10 by B. Amit as Gujarat loses its 4th wicket for 139, trailing Bengal by 215 runs.
3.35 pm: Parthiv Patel falls three short of a half-century. He is out for 47, off 95 balls, caught by Shreevats Goswami off Ishan Porel. Delhi 124/3. Parthiv and Merai have added 107 runs for the third wicket.
3.00 pm: Tea time! Gujarat 114/2 . Merai on 56 and Parthiv Patel on 45 will resume after the short break. The duo have added 97 runs for the third wicket so far.
2.30 pm: B.H. Merai gets to a 50! 53 off 80 balls with 7 fours and Gujarat has recovered from the twin blows to go past the 100-run mark. 108/2 now, trailing by 246 runs.
1.55 pm: Parthiv Patel (28) and Merai (24) have helped Gujarat consolidate a bit. It is now 63/2 in 20 overs, trailing by 291 runs.
1.08 pm: It is now upto Parthiv Patel and B.H. Merai to help Gujarat overcome the jitters. 28/2, after 10 overs, trailing by 326.
12.55 pm: Priyank Panchal is dismissed and Gujarat loses its second wicket. Panchal is caught by Sreevats Goswami off Ishan Porel for 4 (18) and Gujarat in a spot of bother at 17/2, 337 behind.
12.00 noon: Gujarat walks into the lunch break on 11/1. B.H. Merai and Priyank Panchal on 8 and 2 respectively. Gujarat trails by 343 runs.
11.41 am: A horrid start by the defending champion. Gujarat loses its first wicket in the fifth ball. Ashoke Dinda strikes. S.B. Gohil walks back after offering a catch to Anustup Majumdar. Gujarat 0/1.
11.26 am: That's it. Bengal has made 354 in its first innings . Aamir Gani is the last man out for 49 (109). He is caught by M. Juneja off Gaja. Gujarat's first task would be to cross 354.
11.12 am: Bengal breaches the 350-run mark. 350/9 now.
11.02 am: Ishwar Chaudhary takes five! Ashoke Dinda is the man out for 5 (9), caught by M. Juneja. Bengal 335/9. Ishwar has figures of 30-6-81-5 now!
10.50 am: Piyush Chawla strikes for Gujarat. He removed Pramanik for 14, trapped him infront, and Bengal is 330/8.
10.45 am: P. Pramanik has joined Gani in the middle and the duo have taken Bengal to 330/7 in 104 overs. Pramanik is striking a healthy 93.33 (14 runs in 15 balls) and Bengal looks to drive home the advantage.
10.21 am: Ishwar Chaudhary picks up his fourth wicket. B. Amit is dismissed for 36, off 59 balls, caught by Parthiv Patel. Bengal 313/7. Ishwar now has figures of 25.5-6-71-4.
10.15 am: Amit and Aamir have moved on to 32 and 28 respectively and the first 45 minutes of play has been Bengal's. It moves to 309/6 in 97 overs.
9.30 am: Bengal starts day two on 261/6 in 86 overs . In the middle are B. Amit on 9 and Aamir Gani on 6.
