After a defeat against Sri Lanka, England went down to Australia by 64 runs at Lord's on Tuesday.

Chasing 286 for victory in 50 overs, the team was bowled out for 221, left-arm fast bowlers Mitchell Starc and Jason Behrendorff taking nine wickets together.

This was England's third defeat in the competition. Earlier in the league stage, it had suffered a defeat against Pakistan.
