India opener Manjot Kalra celebrates his century and acknowledges the cheers after his exploits. Kalra finished with a unbeaten 101. He becomes the fifth batsman to score a century in the U-19 World Cup final.

Shubman Gill had an outstanding tournament as he finished as the highest run-getter and fittingly walked away with the Man of the Series award. Here, Gill plays a shot in the final against Australia.

Kamlesh Nagarkoti became the talk of the town after his exploits with the ball. Nagarkoti clocked regularly in excess of 140kph. In the final, Nagarkoti returned with figures of 9-0-41-2.

Crowds turned out in large numbers to support the Indian team at the Mount Maunganui Stadium.
