India entered the semifinals of the ICC World Cup with a 28-run defeat of Bangladesh in Birmingham on Tuesday.

Rohit Sharma struck his fourth century of the competition to steer India to 314 for 9. K. L. Rahul provided him good support at the top of the order, scoring 77.

For Bangladesh, Shakib Al Hasan and Mohammad Saifuddin scored half-centuries.
