VCA elections on Nov 13 as per Lodha recommendations

The VCA, in its SGM on September 30, adopted the Lodha committee's recommendations in its entirety. It has already submitted its new constitution to the Supreme Court-appointed committee.

The Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) will elect its office bearers, members of the executive committee and panel of selectors on November 13 as per the Lodha committee recommendation.

The VCA, in its Special General Meeting (SGM) on September 30, adopted the Lodha committee's recommendations in its entirety. It has already submitted its new constitution to the Supreme Court-appointed committee that includes former Chief Justice of India R. M. Lodha and former Supreme Court judges Ashok Bhan and R. V. Raveendran.

The Supreme Court directed the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to stop all payments to its full member associations until they adopt the Lodha recommendations by December 3.
