This has been an Indian Premier League (IPL) season to remember for both Ambati Rayudu and Andrew Tye.
While the Chennai Super Kings batsman has amassed 585 runs in 13 games to be placed third in the runs table, Tye — donning the Kings XI Punjab colours — has picked 24 wickets to top the list.
So, it will be a clash of the two top guns when Chennai Super Kings takes on Kings XI Punjab in Pune on Sunday.
Even though Chennai has already reached the playoffs, Kings XI Punjab finds itself in a spot. That’s why, the clash in Pune is a must-win affair for the side and Tye would be hoping to make it count for his side.
Rayudu, who has been in blistering form this summer, too gets a chance to prepare himself well for the playoffs and he will be looking to come hard on the Kings XI bowlers.
