Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers are set to join the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) side on Sunday. Kohli, who sustained a shoulder injury during the third Test against Australia and subsequently missed the final match in Dharamsala, was advised to undergo a rehabilitation programme by the BCCI Medical Team and his recovery will be assessed in the second week of April.

The 33-year-old de Villiers sat out of Friday's final of the Momentum One Day Cup – South Africa's domestic 50-over tournament – with a back injury. However, RCB confirmed that injury wasn't serious.

While Kohli topped the leading run-scorers list in last year's edition, de Villiers finished third.
