AS Roma names Real Kashmir FC 'Team of the Day'

Earlier this year, Roma had named I-League side Gokulam Kerala FC as the 'Team of the Day'.

Real Kashmir FC was held to a goalless draw on its I-league home debut.

People came out in huge numbers to watch Real Kashmir make its I-League home debut in Srinagar on Tuesday.

And the host, despite being held to a goalless draw by a ten-man Churchill Brothers, had plenty to celebrate after Serie A giant AS Roma named it as the 'Team of the Day'.

The run up to Tuesday’s clash was both dramatic and musical. A two-minute film made on Real Kashmir was released on October 31 to boost local crowd. The video already has over 25 lakh views.

Last month, Roma had named I-League side Gokulam Kerala FC as the 'Team of the Day' after it held Kolkata giant Mohun Bagan in Calicut.
