Gosens is the man who gives the lead to Inter Milan. Onana plays a pass from the Inter penalty area. Martinez starts the run from his own half and reaches the final third to collect the long pass. He then plays the ball in the space in Barca’s penalty area where Gosens arrives from all the way back to slot the ball home. That’s surely settled the game.
Barcelona has drawn the game level. Lewandowski gets hold off a deflected ball and he does not miss such chances. A thrilling finish here.
The visitor has its nose in front. Lautaro chests a long pass, moves past Eric Garcia and shoots. The ball hits both posts and teases the Barcelona keeper on its way in. Inter Milan leads 2-1.
Inter plays a long ball from the left side. Barcelona defenders are caught sleeping as Barrella sneaks through the back line and scores a goal. That was school boy defending from Barcelona players.
Barca draws first blood. Xavi is ecstatic on the bench. Barca makes a switch of play and Raphinha gets the ball on the right. He plays it along the touchline to Roberto who beats his marker Mkhitaryan. Roberto further pokes the ball into the six-yard box where Dembele slots the ball into the net.
Let’s finally take a moment to catch our breathe. It has been the highest quality of football at Camp Nou but the mood in the Spanish city will be soured as a draw put Barcelona in danger of relegation to Europa League. Five foals were scored in the second half. Barca started with a one goal lead but that did not stick for long as Barrella leveled in the 50th minute. Inter then took the lead on two occasions but Lewandowski stepped up to get his side level. Yet a win eluded the Catalans on the night and they stay third in Group C, three behind Inter Milan. Bayern strolled past Viktoria Plzen in the other match and is through to the last 16. For Barcelona, the situation is dire. It needs to win both its games and hope Inter Milan does not get more than two points from its remaining matches.
Inzaghi is protesting about the referee letting the play continue beyond the stoppage time of six minutes. The referee cautions him first but then shows a red card.
Inter had a chance to score a fourth when Barcelona loses the ball. Lautaro Martinez is one on one against ter Stegen and he places the ball to the keeper’s right. ter Stegen saves it with his extended leg.
The Frenchman goes to snatch the ball from Darmian and catches him on the shin. The referee gives a yellow but that could easily have been a red.
Kessie crosses the ball from the right flank. The ball goes around de Vrij and the Polish striker in there in the middle to connect with it. He dives forward to meet the ball but puts it wide.

Dembele takes a shot from outside the box. The shot is blocked but the clearance comes off Dembele and lands at Lewa’s feet in the box who completes the goal. The assistant, however, raises his flag.

Barcelona enjoys a sustained spell of possession in and around the Inter penalty area. The visiting side is able to hold its own and clear out the danger.
ter Stegen is tested by Inter Milan which takes three attempts on target. ter Stegen has to be at his finest in order to get his hand behind these shots and prevent another goal.
Pedri takes a touch to move clear with the ball when de Vrij lunges out and catches the Spanish midfielder.
The game is incredibly stretched now. First, Lewandowski gets a shot at goal which he misses. Then Inter builds an attack from the left but the cross into the box is collected by ter Stegen. The frenzy comes to an end on the opposite end when Dembele’s cross is met by Onana.
Barcelona tries multiple ways to get into the Inter penalty area but all are thwarted. There is a stretch ofp play where Barca players dish out physical tackles to Inter players. The game is ultimately stopped for a foul committed on Gavi.
The second half is underway as Barcelona hopes to keep Inter Milan away from scoring and conserve its lead.
That’s the end of the first period as the four minutes of stoppage time comes to an end. What a half of football. It’s been intense and played at a ferocious pace. It’d be fair to sya that both teams have had chances. In fact, the visiting side has had the better ones. Edin Dzeko hit the bar and came the closest to scoring. Dumfries then missed a one on one chance. But it was Dembele who put the host in front with a tap in from Sergi Roberto pass. Will Barcelona be able to hold on to the lead and stay alive in the comeptition? Back in 10 minutes for the second half.
Onana spills a cross from the left side. The ball goes to Raphinha who is on the edge of the penalty area on the right side. He sees Onana off his line and tries a chipped and curled shot to the far corner. The ball misses by inches.
Barcelona works a neat move with Pedri passing to Dembele on the left. Dembele cuts in and takes a shot but the ball is not connected with cleanly. The deflection lands near Pedri and he takes a shot bu Onana saves.
Lewandowski brushes his marker away and gets in behind on the left touchline. He crosses the ball in with his left foot. Raphinha is unmarked in the box and he chooses to take a volley. The shot goes wide. Poor from the Brazilian.
Marcos Alonso is trying to clear the ball but Barrella swiftly closes down. The ball is deflected for a throw in to Barcelona.
The Barcelona player takes a low drilled shot from outside the box. Onana yet again spills the ball and Lewa has a chance to score from the rebound but he fails to meet the ball in time.
Inter Milan breaks out into a counter attack when Barrella wins the ball from Gavi. He moves the ball into the penalty area and passes to Dumfries. The right-back’s shot is right in the middle and saved by the Barcelona custodian.
The Frenchman takes a curling shot with his right side. Onana tries to collect the ball but spills the ball to hand Barca a corner.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan gets a rebound and he strikes a volley. The shot remains low and ter Stegen gets down to save it. Not an easy save given it came through a body of Barca players.
Barca gets a freekick on the left flank. Raphinha plays it in and Lewa heads it. The shot is weak and the ball goes out for a goal kick.
The Polish striker is fed with a pass in the penalty area. he tries to turn and dummy the Inter defender but he takes too long and the Inter players cover all angles out. Lewandowski ends up playing a tam pass across the face of the goal which Onana collects easily.
Gavi steams across the pitch with a sliding tackle and then fights for the subsequent spilled ball to win the possession for his team.
The freekick is whipped in from the right side. It lands with Dzeko who strikes it fiercely with his right foot only to find the cross bar. The rebound gets close to de Vrij who has an attempt but mistimes his jump. A lucky escape for Barcelona.
Dumfries gets his body in between the ball and the onruhsing Ousmane Dembele. A freekick for Inter in Barca’s half.
Eric Garcia plays a long through ball aimed at Pedri in the Inter Milan penalty area. The midfielder misses the ball and the Inter defender is able to play it out of danger. The attack fizzles out as the delivery from the corner is poor.
The game has switched between the two ends. After two Barcelona corners, Inter tries a cross in the box from the right but the ball has too much weight and goes long.
The ball is headed home from a Barcelona corner until the Armenia player steps in between and clears the ball.
Dembele is moving swiftly with the ball before he is brought down.
Dimarco wins the first corner for Inter when he beats Sergi Roberto. Raphinha slides in to stop the attack which hands the the visitor a corner kick. Nothing comes off it, though.
Barcelona gets the ball rolling from the centre circle and Lewandowski wins an early free kick for his side.

With a loss in the previous match, Barcelona has left itself in a dangerous spot. A loss tonight would see Inter move six points clear of the Catalans. A draw would also leave Barcelona wanting Inter to lose against Plzen.

Barcelona coach Xavi admitted his team is in a precarious position in the Champions League but said they are out for revenge against Inter Milan on Wednesday.
The Catalans lost 1-0 in Italy last week and only a win at Camp Nou will give them a realistic chance of qualifying for the knock-out phase and avoiding a second successive group stage elimination.
Inter heads into the game three points ahead of Barcelona, with three games remaining, and if it avoids defeat it can lock in a better head-to-head record against the Catalans.
“This is a special match, we did not do our homework well by losing the away games,” Xavi told a press conference Tuesday.
Barcelona lost 2-0 at Group C leader Bayern Munich on September 13 and then could not find a way through a crowded Inter defence at San Siro.
