The Chinese Super League (CSL) will host at least 1,500 spectators in the opening match of the 2021 season, domestic media said.
The season opener will be held at the Tianhe Stadium in Guangzhou on April 20, Guangdong TV said on Friday, but the CSL has yet to announce which teams will play.

The Chinese Football Association said the southern city of Guangzhou would host group A's opening rounds, while group B will be played in the city of Suzhou. Matches will be held in bio-secure hubs.
Last year's champion, Jiangsu FC, will not feature in the new season, following the denial of a licence by Chinese football authorities after owners Suning said they had ceased operations at the end of February.
