- So that is all from my side. Thanks for tuning in and see you around soon!

- Next up, Man United faces Wolverhampton on Monday night [August 20] in the Premier League, whereas Chelsea will lock horns with Liverpool in the UEFA Super Cup on Thursday [August 15].

- So, Lampard's first match in charge of Chelsea in the Premier League ends in defeat as Manchester United beats Chelsea 4-0. Rashford won a penalty and then put United ahead after confidently converting his spot-kick into the top left corner. Then, two goals in two minutes in the second half took the game away from Chelsea as Martial fired in from close range before Rashford got his second after latching onto Pogba's brilliant pass. James then got a debut goal after coming off the bench when he slotted his effort past Kepa and into the bottom left corner.

FULL TIME: MANCHESTER UNITED 4-0 CHELSEA - Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Daniel James script a mighty 4-0 win over the Blues as the Red Devils begin their league campaign on a very positive note. Four goals and a cleansheet - not too bad a start for Ole, eh? Lampard, however, will have to wait more for his first set of points.

90+4' - SAVE ! Once again, it's Emerson with a good chance to score for Chelsea as he has a go from a tight angle on the left. De Gea is quickly across his line to punch the effort away and over the crossbar to deny him.

90+2' - McTominay tries to pick out Martial's run into the box with a chipped pass over the top of Chelsea's defence. The Frenchman reaches it but the linesman's flag goes up for offside.

90' - Kante receives a yellow card after catching James with a late challenge.

89' - Four minutes have been added on here.

87' - Double change for United now and Rashford is the first to come off as he's replaced by Greenwood. Mata is the other player to come as he replaces Lingard.

85' - Mount is being closely marked by Wan-Bissaka and he cuts back inside to get some more space on the edge of the box. He fires his shot low but it's a comfortable save for De Gea at his near post.

82' - GOAL! MANCHESTER UNITED 4-0 CHELSEA. Daniel James scores on his Man United debut and the team bursts into celebrations! On the counter, Martial and Pogba combine brilliantly to set up James, who on his first attempt, fails to shoot but recovers well and sends it into the bottom corner of the far post!

78' - Shaw wins the ball from Chelsea and Pogba latches onto it. The midfielder finds Rashford running in from the left in the middle - Rashford has space in front of him and he tries to cut in but Kante retrieves.

76'- The camera pans to Ferguson in the crowd, who has a big smile on his face for obvious reasons. 15 minutes of regulation time pending here.

72'- Jorginho has been brought off as Kante is introduced in the Chelsea team - Lampard has completed his quota of three changes for the night. At the other end, Pereira makes way for Swansea recruit Daniel James.

70' - Lindelof receives a yellow card after catching Kovacic with a late challenge. Meanwhile, the crowd at Old Trafford is chanting "20 times, 20 times Man United".

70' - United is running riot here and the Blues are left with no answer. Two goals in two minutes and the gap is now extended to three. Lampard, meanwhile, has brought on Giroud in an attempt to reduce the deficit. Can the Blues pull off a comeback here? 20 minutes pending.

67' -  GOAL! MANCHESTER UNITED 3-0 CHELSEA. Rashford scores again as United slots two in as many minutes! Pogba picks out Rashford up front with a lofted pass and the England international makes no mistake in making it 3-0!

65' - GOAL! MANCHESTER UNITED 2-0 CHELSEA. Martial scores in front of the Stretford End as he connects with Pereira's cross from the right flank.

62' - Corner for the home side and Pereira swings it in for Maguire in the box. The centre-back rises highest to meet it but can only head it back across the penalty area before Christensen clears it.

58' - Christian Pulisic comes on for Chelsea as he replaces Barkley, in what is the first substitution of the match. With this, Pulisic also makes his Premier League debut for the Blues!

57' - Abraham is the latest player to be shown a yellow card after he catches McTominay with a late challenge.

55' - SAVE! Wan-Bissaka clears Azpilicueta's cross to Barkley on the edge of the box and he sets himself before firing his shot back across goal. De Gea dives across his line and gets a hand to it to punch it away.

53' - Jorginho brings down an onrushing Lingard outside the box. United has a free-kick which is taken by Pereira, who sends it wide for Wan-Bissaka. The former Palace defender tries to poke it in the box but Chritensen heads it away.

50' - Emerson finds Barkley and Barkley sends a throughball for Pedro. Pedro takes his time and makes some space for him before taking a shot but it flies over the bar.

48' - After Zouma, Lingard is the latest player to be booked for his challenge on Kovacic.

46' - The second half is underway.

HALF TIME: MANCHESTER UNITED 1-0 CHELSEA - The home side leads by a goal at the break, thanks to a penalty-kick from homegrown lad Marcus Rashford. Chelsea has managed to trouble the United defence and even hit the post on two occasions in the last ten minutes of the first-half but as it stands, the Red Devils survive and currently enjoy a one-goal cushion.

45+2' - After a string of passes, Kovacic sends a lofted ball in towards the top corner of the far post, but De Gea easily collects it. That's the end of the first half.

45' - United continues to lead by a goal and will have to push further for the next two minutes (for they have been added on) if it wishes to walk off at half-time with a lead.

40' - OFF THE CROSSBAR! A bit of confusion between Maguire and Wan-Bissaka sees the ball bounce to Emerson on the left of the box. He sets himself before firing his shot towards goal, but can only watch as it bounces off the woodwork.

39'- Martial's misspass sees Chelsea attain possession of the ball and it is Barkley on the attack for the Blues. He tries to shoot from the left but De Gea clears it through his legs. On the rebound, Jorginho takes a shot but it is kept out by the United central defence.

37'- Zouma is the first player to enter the referee's book for his late challenge on Pereira.

35' - CLOSE! Straight the other end, Barkley latches onto Kepa's long pass and has a go from outside the box. It was a powerful strike but flies just wide of the post.

33'- OFFSIDE! Pogba plays a throughball to Rashford in the box and he turns before firing his shot into the back of the net. Rashford was well offside when he received the pass though and the linesman's flag goes up straight away.

31' - Wan-Bissaka marks Barkley well before the Chelsea attacker sends the ball forward for Abraham. It looks as if Chelsea is about to trigger the attack but Abraham fails to contain the ball as Lindelof gets hold of it.

31' - Now Mount tests the United defence as he sends a ball into the United box but Wan-Bissaka blocks the danger.

30' - OVER! McTominay and Lingard combine well to feed Martial with a ball on the left, but the France international shoots it way off target.

29' - United gets the ball back from Chelsea and Pogba tries to get things going in the middle of the park. He pushes forward and tries to take a turn as Kovacic tries to chase him, but the Frenchman loses his balance and also the ball.

26' - Chelsea is trying to press high up the field but is struggling to get on the ball at the minute as United continues to keep possession in its own half.

21' - Pogba and Christensen collide in an aerial challenge and the latter has gone down with some pain.

18' - GOAL! MANCHESTER UNITED 1-0 CHELSEA. Rashford converts from the spot! The Englishman aims for the left-side and even though Kepa dives in the right direction, he can't keep Rashford's attempt away. United leads in its opening league game, thanks to Rashford!

16' - PENALTY TO UNITED.  Zouma brings down Rashford inside the box and Anthony Taylor signals for a spot-kick.

12' - Pedro finds Mount in the middle, who shoots from distance. His shot has the power and precision, but is saved by De Gea between the sticks.

10' - Pedro fizzes a brilliant ball across the six-yard box but no one is in the middle to get on the end of it. Abraham is the closest but was wrong-footed as the cross went past him.

8' - CHANCE! Zouma gifts the ball to Martial in his own box after Kepa finds the defender with a pass; Martial runs towards the target and unleashes a shot, which is kept low and doesn't trouble the Chelsea custodian.

4' - OFF THE POST! Abraham's attempt from the box hits the post as United survives. After Maguire clears the ball to give Chelsea its first corner-kick, the home team's inability to clear the ball sees Abraham take a shot. He, however, is unfortunate to see it bounce off the post.

2' - Emerson, on the left wing, gets the better of Lingard and tries to push forward. He, however, can't get past Wan-Bissaka, who does well to track down the midfielder and avert the danger.
