Which clubs will Croatia players play for after FIFA World Cup 2022?

Out of the 26 players in the squad, six are a part of the Croatian League - the highest from one league.

Croatia capped off its FIFA World Cup journey in Qatar with a 2-1 win over Morocco to seal the third place in the tournament.

The European nation pulled off an impressive showing at the tournament, which included eliminating title contenders Brazil in the quarterfinal.

Luka Modric and Co had the chance to make it to back to back finals, but fell short against Argentina, the eventual champion. Lionel Messi, Julian Alvarez scored three goals to end the dream run for Croatia.

Nonetheless, the side made people take notice with its performance in Qatar. Young names Josko Gvaridol and Dominik Livakovic were among the players who made heads turn.

While Livakovic plays in the Croatian League for Dinamo Zagreb, centre-back Gvadriol is signed with RB Leipzig in Bundesliga.

Among the senior players in the squad, Luka Modric, Mateo Kovacic and Ivan Perisic are the most notable names. The three play for Real Madrid, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, respectively.
