Gokulam Kerala entered the semifinals of the Sheikh Kamal International Cup football tournament, beating Chennai City FC 2-0 in its last league match here on Saturday.

The Kozhikode-based club needed only a draw to advance, but goals from Lalromawia (eighth minute) Henry Kisekka (12th) gave it full points.

The result hardly mattered to Chennai, which was already out of the competition.
