Mohun Bagan sealed its semifinal berth in the Sheikh Kamal International Cup on Friday as it defeated Chittagong Abahani 1-0.
VP Suhair scored the winning goal for The Mariners in the 62nd minute to take his side into the last four.
Kibu Vicuna's side had lost its opening match of the tournament to Laos' Young Elephants FC but bounced back with a win against TC Sports Club on October 23.
The victory over Chittagong Abahani took it to the second spot in Group A, hereby confirming a semifinal spot.
In the last four, Mohun Bagan will face the winner of Group B.
Malaysian club Terengganu FC is currently leading in Group B with four points from two matches. India's Gokulam Kerala is second, whereas Chennai City has been eliminated.
