The final 23-man squad will be announced prior to departure to Buriram.

Stimac, whose first match as the Indian coach will be on June 5 versus Curacao, said that it is "always difficult for the coach to take hard decisions and release players".

“The hardest part of the job comes when decisions are to be done about releasing some of them after the hard work they put in for the past ten days,” he said.
