Cine star and co-owner of Chennaiyin FC Abhishek Bachchan said that the Indian Super League (ISL) has given its judgement, post enquiry, on the unpleasant events that took place after the conclusion of last year's ISL final in Goa.

"We will have to adhere by that; at the end of the day there is a governing body that cares of these things and we have to listen to what they say and go with that. I just feel that at the end of the day in sport these things happen and wherever there's an organised league there is also a regulatory committee. We respect the decision the committee had taken," said Bachchan when asked to respond to the ISL's decision to impose a fine of Rs. 11 crore on FC Goa and also multiple season bans on its owners.

FC Goa owners Srinivas Dempo and Dattaraj Salgaocar have been banned for two and three ISL seasons. The Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL) that runs the ISL has appealed though against the 15 point penalty docked on FC Goa by the Regulatory Commission.
